With free connectivity throughout the train and power sockets at every seat, you can stay online and in the loop throughout your journey.
FREE WI-FI ON BOARD
Whether you’re working or unwinding, you can email, tweet and browse en route using any wi-fi enabled phone, tablet or laptop.
Please be aware that we switch between various 3G and 4G signals as we speed across borders and time zones. So, the connection might not be as reliable as it is in your favourite Parisian café or local London pub.
We’re continually working with network providers to improve our onboard wi-fi, so you can stay connected throughout your journey.
- Our free wi-fi uses 3G and 4G signals en route, so the quality of the internet connection will vary, even if the wi-fi signal on your device looks good.
- If you lose your connection, we're probably just passing through an area with weak signal. There's no need to reconnect though. Once the signal improves, you'll be connected again automatically.
- Our free onboard entertainment isn't affected by the signal, so you can enjoy our range of movies, TV programmes, and more all the way.
OUR CONNECTED ROUTES
Free onboard wi-fi is currently available on our new and refurbished trains. By 2019, they’ll make up our entire fleet.
Until then, if you travel on one of our older trains without an internet connection, you’ll be able to watch TV programmes and films through our free onboard entertainment system.
HAVE YOUR SAY
Your feedback helps us to make sure our wi-fi’s the best it can be. So, if you travel on one of our trains with an internet connection, look out for a feedback email after your trip or tell us what you think using our contact form.
To make sure everyone can get online, we have to limit connection speed, access to some video and music streaming sites, as well as sites with content that isn’t suitable for an open public network
FREE WI-FI AT THE STATION
Our departure lounges in London, Ebbsfleet, Paris and Lille all have free wi-fi, as do all of our Business Premier lounges. So you can check the news, send a few emails or just post a sneaky selfie while you wait.
